Invisalign

Madison dentist | Invisalign clear braces | Byce and Worman Family Dentistry

Everyone's talking about Invisalign braces, and for good reason. Invisalign braces have completely transformed the way we think about and experience dental braces. With Invisalign braces, there's no worry about metal brackets and wires that are uncomfortable and unattractive. Invisalign braces include a series of clear plastic aligners that are virtually invisible and completely removable. You can eat what you want, drink what you want, and brush and floss more thoroughly to keep your dental health in top shape!

How Invisalign Works

Invisalign | Byce & Worman | Dentist Madison, WI
Invisalign® uses a custom-made series of aligners created specifically for you using a digital 3D scanner. The aligner trays are made of virtually invisible plastic, are completely smooth and fit perfectly over your teeth. You will wear the aligners all of the time, except when you are eating and brushing and they will gradually and gently shift your teeth into place. No metal brackets and no wires, so no tightening or breaking. You just put in new set of aligners approximately every two weeks, until your treatment is complete.

Advantages of Invisalign

Invisalign® is an excellent option for anyone choosing to straighten their teeth discreetly, but none offers the level of comfort, convenience and confidence that you'll find with Invisalign®. There are no food restrictions, more aesthetically pleasing, easier to clean and faster results. And no matter what stage you're at in life, you'll appreciate how our cutting-edge approach to treatment has minimal interference in how you live, but has a significant positive impact on how you look and feel about yourself. Other benefits include correcting oral problems such as overbites, crossbites, underbites, crowding of the teeth, and spacing between the teeth. With Invisalign®, you will experience little change in your personal life.

Choosing to straighten your teeth is a big decision that affects not only your appearance, but your lifestyle as well. As an adult, you may be looking to improve your smile for business and social reasons, or even for a special occasion like your wedding day. Or perhaps you're a teen or the parent of a teen looking for an effective yet modern-day solution. Either way, Invisalign® and Invisalign Teen® can provide a simple way to accomplish this without having to put your life on hold.

Differences between Invisalign teen and Invisalign

Extra aligners

Traditional, fixed braces for kids don’t provide the opportunities for loss that removable, clear aligners do, so Invisalign Teen comes with six free replacement aligners, should your child misplace an aligner or two during treatment.

Compliance Indicators

Do you want to be sure your teen is wearing his/her aligners for the prescribed length of time? These compliance indicators, the blue dots on the aligner fade in color when worn for the appropriate length of time. If you’re worried that your child may be removing the aligners for longer periods of time than just for oral hygiene, take a look at the compliance indicators.

Power Ridges

Sometimes root movements are necessary during treatment, and Invisalign Teen comes equipped with power ridges that provide additional force to perform these movements.

These key differences between Invisalign and Invisalign Teen enable teens to choose an aesthetic treatment option while addressing their unique needs.

Room for erupting molars

Invisalign Teen addresses the fact that many teens still have erupting teeth while in orthodontic treatment by including design features such as eruption tabs that provide room for erupting teeth and aid in guiding them into proper position.

Invisalign Costs

We are committed to helping you maximize your insurance benefits. Because insurance policies vary, we can estimate your coverage but cannot guarantee coverage due to the complexities of insurance contracts. Many employee dental benefit plans include orthodontic coverage which can be applied toward Invisalign treatment. As well as employee based HSA/HRA or flex spending accounts. Your estimated patient portion must be paid at the time of service. If you have any questions, our courteous staff is always available to answer them.

CareCredit can help you get the healthy, radiant smile you have always wanted with low monthly payments. CareCredit is a healthcare credit card specifically designed to pay for treatments and procedures not covered by insurance. Every CareCredit transaction is eligible for a No Interest or Low Interest Payment Plan. Don’t put off treatment because you can’t afford to pay. CareCredit allows you to pay overtime instead of paying a lump sum prior to treatment.
